Recently Eminem dropped his new single “Not Afraid”. The day after its release, Maino released a record titled “Survival Of The Fittest” with the same beat, produced by Boi-1da. In the clip above, Maino breaks down how this sort of thing can happen and how he feels about the record.

Check out what Maino had to say on his Rome trip below, as well as some footage from his European performances.
“I was on my shit. Like in Rome, I went to the Vatican; I went to the Coliseum, to Old Rome. That was real big for me because I watch all those movies like Gladiator; I watch Spartacus and stuff like that. They’re actually fighting in the Coliseum; the Coliseum is where they had those live shows and they fought to the death. That’s still standing 2,000 years later. You go on the Starz network and you watch the Spartacus show that comes on every week and that’s what’s going on. I definitely wanted to visit these places and actually be a sightseer. That was for me. That ain’t have nothing to do with nothing else.
It’s real historic to be able to go there and see something that’s been around for 2,00o years. That was crazy for me. I was having fun. I was like a big kid out there because I was like, Wow, look at this. We’ve been watching all these movies and we see it all the time but it’s actually still here.
We didn’t actually go inside because the lines was crazy and we ain’t have time to wait on the long lines—they had a lot of school trips and people coming all over the world to go to these places. But you could still get a lot out of it by walking around it and that’s exactly what we did. We were on the grounds, but we could still see inside of it. Man, it was a just great feeling to see those old bricks. And they still don’t really know how they even got the building up there, how they built it. That’s crazy. It’s one of history’s mysteries.”
